Robert J. Cross Homestead

I had the opportunity to film The Robert J. Cross Homestead for the Roscoe Township in Roscoe IL. I was completely unaware of how old the house is. In 1835, Robert J. Cross arrived at the trading post of Stephen Mack and bought a claim. This claim made by Cross was the first made in the Roscoe Township for permanent settlement and cultivation.
